Turkey with Carrots, Broccoli and Sesame
- 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
- 1 pound turkey
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 3 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 cup chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar
- In a nonstick skillet toast sesame seeds and set aside.
- Slice turkey in strips.
- In skillet cook turkey in oil until brown.
- Remove to plate.
- Add garlic, ginger and carrots to skillet and saute.
- Add broccoli and continue cooking.
- Pour in stock.
- Add soy sauce and vinegar.
- In small bowl combine cornstarch and water.
- Pour mixture over vegetables.
- Add turkey.
- Cook until vegetables begin to soften.
- Serve over rice, topped with sesame seeds.
