Legion 56 Egg Nog
- 9 Egg yolks
- 4 Egg whites
- 1 1/2 cup Super fine sugar
- 1 quart Whole milk
- 2 quart Heavy cream
- 16 oz Brandy
- 8 oz Cognac
- 2 oz Dark rum , optional
- 1 1/2 tsp Too 2 teaspoons of nutmeg
- 1 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Beat yolks till thick pale yellow using hand mixer
- Add sugar and milk while stirring
- Add heavy cream while stirring then alcohol keep stirring
- In other container beat the egg whites to stiff peaks
- Add other quart of heavy cream to egg whites while stirring
- Fold egg white mixture into yolk mixture
- Add nutmeg and cinnamon stir most in leave some on top
