Mini Curried Pasties

  1. Heat a little oil in a frying pan, add onion, curry and chilli powder and cook until onion has softened.
  2. Add meat, stirring until cooked.
  3. Add tomato and Vegemite*, cook for 5 minutes, then add potato.
  4. Cut each sheet of pastry into four circles or squares.
  5. Place a heaped tablespoon of the meat mixture onto pastry circles.
  6. Brush edges of pastry with water and fold over.
  7. Press edges together with a fork to seal.
  8. Brush pasties with egg and bake in 210C oven for 25 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden.
