Glazed Persimmon Bars Recipe

  1. Add in soda to persimmon pulp.
  2. Set aside.
  3. Cream sugar, egg, oil.
  4. Add in lemon juice, flour, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg.
  5. Add in pulp and blend well.
  6. Add in raisins, the 1/4 c. flour, and nuts.
  7. Spread in 10 x 15 greased and floured pan.
  8. Bake for 25 min in 350 degree oven.
  9. Glaze with 1 c. powdered sugar and 2 teaspoon lemon juice, beaten together.
  10. Cut into bars.
