Fried Avocado with Salsa Ranch Dip
- Canola Oil, For Frying
- 2 whole Eggs
- 2 cups Bread Crumbs
- 2 whole Avocados, Sliced Into Strips
- Salsa, To Taste
- Ranch Dressing, To Taste
- Fill a deep pot or Dutch oven with a couple inches of canola oil.
- Heat to 350 degrees F, verify with a thermometer.
- Whisk the eggs in a bowl, set aside.
- Add the bread crumbs to a bowl, set aside.
- Dip the avocado pieces into the egg, then the bread crumbs.
- Lower the avocado into the heated oil, fry until golden brown.
- To make the salsa/ranch dip, combine parts of both ingredients until desired flavor.
- Some people might like more of a salsa flavor, others, more of a ranch.
- I like about 2 parts ranch to 1 part hot salsa.
- Enjoy!
