Fried Avocado with Salsa Ranch Dip

  1. Fill a deep pot or Dutch oven with a couple inches of canola oil.
  2. Heat to 350 degrees F, verify with a thermometer.
  3. Whisk the eggs in a bowl, set aside.
  4. Add the bread crumbs to a bowl, set aside.
  5. Dip the avocado pieces into the egg, then the bread crumbs.
  6. Lower the avocado into the heated oil, fry until golden brown.
  7. To make the salsa/ranch dip, combine parts of both ingredients until desired flavor.
  8. Some people might like more of a salsa flavor, others, more of a ranch.
  9. I like about 2 parts ranch to 1 part hot salsa.
  10. Enjoy!
