Italian Chicken (Crock Pot/ Slow Cooker)
- 6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves (about 8 ounces each)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
- 34 cup water
- 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
- 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 12 teaspoon dried tarragon
- 12 teaspoon italian seasoning
- 14 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3 tablespoons water
- hot cooked rice
- Place chicken in crock pot.
- Combine the tomatoes, 3/4 cup water, onion, bouillon and seasonings and pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 3-4 hours.
- Pour cooking juices from crock pot into a saucepan.
- Combine cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of water until smooth.
- Stir into cooking juices and bring to a boil.
- Cook and stir until thickened.
- Serve with chicken and rice.
