Grilled Cowboy Ribeye Steak with Acccompaniment Ideas
- 1 2 pound cowboy cut ribeye steak.( The cowboy ribeye is a large thick cut, full bone in steak )
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp softened butter, salted or unsalted
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tbsp granulated garlic
- 1 tsp hot sauce, such as Frank's red hot brand
- 1 tsp fresh chopped chives
- 1/4 tsp black pepper and salt to taste
- Remove steak from refrigerator about 30 minutes before grilling.
- Sprinkle all over wih salt and pepper.
- Have grill hot and grill over direct heat, watching at all times and moving to indirect heat if it starts to burn.
- Cook to desired doneness, do not over cook.The timing depends on the thickness of the steak and how you like yours cooked
- Comine all ingrediemts for flavored butter and mix well.
- Spread on steak as soon as it is removed from the grill.
- Let steak sit 5 to 10 minutes before cutting.
