Chicken Creole

  1. In a large sauce pan heat oil over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and green pepper.
  3. Cook stirring, 8 to 10 minutes, until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in the remaining ingredients.
  5. Cover; simmer 30 to 45 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  6. Serve with crusty bread and a salad.
