Crabmeat Canapes
- 8 ounces, weight Cooked Crab Meat, Coarsely Chopped
- 1/2 cups Butter, At Room Temperature
- 1 Tablespoon Mayonnaise
- 1 jar (5 Oz. Size) Kraft Old English Cheese Spread
- 1/4 teaspoons Lawry's Seasoned Salt
- 1 dash Ground Black Pepper
- 1 dash Garlic Salt (optional)
- 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley, Finely Chopped
- 12 English Muffin Halves
- Mix crab, butter, mayo, cheese spread, seasonings and parsley in a bowl.
- Place muffin halves in a single layer on a jelly roll pan.
- Spread mixture evenly over English muffins.
- Freeze for 30 minutes.
- Remove pan from freezer and slice each English muffin half into quarters.
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Bake at 375 F for approximately 10-15 minutes until just starting to brown and bubble.
- Remove from oven and serve.
- To freeze: After cutting into quarters return to freezer until completely frozen.
- Once frozen store in an airtight freezer safe container.
- Remove any amount you desire and bake at 375 F for approximately 25 minutes until just starting to brown and bubble.
