Chili Cheese Smothered Hash Browns #SP5

  1. Make a pot of your favorite chili.
  2. Cook hash browns by package instructions in frying pan.
  3. Place cooked potatoes on a serving platter or bowl.
  4. Cover with the chili and top with the shredded cheese.
  5. Dollop the sour cream on top in the center.
  6. Sprinkle the jalapenos over the top.
  7. Use fresh or pickled peppers chopped or sliced.
  8. Pepper jack cheese can also be used in place of the cheddar.
  9. If peppers are too spicy, use your favorite salsa instead, or offer peppers on the side as a topping.
  10. Greek Yogurt can also be used in place of the sour cream for a lighter version.
  11. Hot sauce can also be added to adjust flavor and temperature.
