3 Pines Beef Tacos Recipe
- 11/2 lb grnd beef chuck
- 1 Tbsp. masa harina or possibly yellow cornmeal
- 1/3 c. water or possibly more as needed
- 11/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 clv garlic -- chopped
- 1 Tbsp. grnd cumin
- 1 tsp grnd coriander
- 1 tsp dry oregano -- crushed
- 3 Tbsp. chili pwdr
- 1/2 tsp cayenne
- 13/4 c. minced onions
- 4 x jalapenos, with or possibly without seeds - minced
- In a large skillet, cook grnd beef till no longer pink; drain off excess liquid and fat.
- Stir in seasonings and masa or possibly cornmeal and water; mix well and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer over low heat, stirring occasionally, about 12-15 min or possibly till liquid is absorbed.
- Stir in onions and chiles; cook over low heat 3-4 min or possibly till heated through, and it's ready to use.
- Feel free to adjust any ingredient you like to please your tastes.
