Savory Roast Chicken
- 2-1/2 lb. broiler/fryer chicken
- 2 tbsp. butter
- margarine, melted
- 3 tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. fresh savory
- 1 tsp. dried savory
- Place chicken, breast side up, on a rack in a shallow roasting pan.
- Combine butter, lemon juice and savory; brush over chicken.
- Bake, uncovered at 375F for 1-1/2 hours or until juices run clear, basting occasionally with the pan drippings.
