Lots of Lettuce Sandwich
- 4 slice Sliced bread (thin)
- 4 slice Ham
- 2 slice Sliced cheese (non-melting type)
- 4 leaves Lettuce
- 2 tbsp French dressing
- 1 Margarine
- Get all the ingredients ready.
- Spread the bread thinly with margarine.
- Top with ham and cheese.
- Stack 2 leaves of lettuce together neatly.
- Cut the lettuce in half.
- Place one half with the cut side facing outwards on the bread, drizzle on 1/2 tablespoon of French dressing, and top with another half-leaf of lettuce.
- Squeeze together tightly.
- Drizzle the remaining dressing on the lettuce.
- Top with the ham, and put on the other slice of bread.
- It is pretty thick.
- Leave for about 10 minutes with a cutting board on top as a weight.
- Wrap in plastic wrap until you're ready to eat it.
- Otherwise it will fall apart...
- The lettuce is so crispy, it's like eating a salad.
- 23 April, 2011.
- I made it again for the first time in a while.
