Lots of Lettuce Sandwich

  1. Get all the ingredients ready.
  2. Spread the bread thinly with margarine.
  3. Top with ham and cheese.
  4. Stack 2 leaves of lettuce together neatly.
  5. Cut the lettuce in half.
  6. Place one half with the cut side facing outwards on the bread, drizzle on 1/2 tablespoon of French dressing, and top with another half-leaf of lettuce.
  7. Squeeze together tightly.
  8. Drizzle the remaining dressing on the lettuce.
  9. Top with the ham, and put on the other slice of bread.
  10. It is pretty thick.
  11. Leave for about 10 minutes with a cutting board on top as a weight.
  12. Wrap in plastic wrap until you're ready to eat it.
  13. Otherwise it will fall apart...
  14. The lettuce is so crispy, it's like eating a salad.
