Cajun Steak With Potatoes and Vegetables

  1. Rub steaks with Cajun spice, and place in a resealable baplastic bag.
  2. Combine 1/4 cup Balsamic vinaigrette with hot sauce and pour over the steaks.
  3. Refrigerate overnight.
  4. Halve and steam potatoes until fork tender, about 12 minutes.
  5. Let stand for about 2-3 minutes, before tossing it with 2 tbsp of vinaigrette and green onions.
  6. Set aside, and kep warm.
  7. Cook frozen vegetables, and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Meanwhile, lightly oil and breheat barbecue (or indoor grill) to medium high heat.
  9. Remove steaks from marinade and cook for 6-8 minutes per side for medium.
  10. Transfer to a cutting board and gently cover and let rest for 5-10 minutes.
  11. Plate the steaks with the potatoes and vegetables and drizzle the remaining 2 tbsp of Balsamic vinaigrette as a sauce.
