Sexy Beef Stew
- 1 pound Beef Stew Meat (chuck, Round, Shank), Cut Into 1-2 Inch Cubes
- 1 can (6 Oz. Size) Tomato Paste
- 1 can (14 Oz. Size) Diced Tomatoes
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Broth (Any Kind You Have On Hand)
- 1 cup Dry Red Wine (Cabernet, Merlot, Syrah)
- 1 cup Onion, Diced
- 3 whole Carrots, Sliced
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 teaspoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon Mrs. Dash
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 cups Barley
- 1/2 cups Frozen Peas
- Combine all ingredients except barley and peas in a large crockpot.
- Cook on low for 7-9 hours.
- During the last 1-2 hours of cooking, add the barley and peas; continue to cook until barley is tender.
- Serve with a splash of balsamic vinegar for a little kick.
- Enjoy with a sexy glass of red wine.
