Creamy Chocolate Cookie Pie

  1. Combine 1 1/2 cups cookie crumbs and butter in small bowl; mix well.
  2. Press evenly onto bottom and up sides of ungreased 8- or 9-inch pie pan.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Melt chocolate in 2-quart saucepan over low heat (1 minute).
  5. Stir in pudding mix and milk with wire whisk.
  6. Increase heat to medium.
  7. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a full boil (10 to 12 minutes).
  8. Remove from heat; stir in cookies and vanilla.
  9. Pour into prepared crust.
  10. Cover; refrigerate until set (3 to 4 hours).
  11. To serve, dollop individual servings with 2 tablespoons whipped topping.
  12. Garnish with remaining cookie crumbs.
