carne guesada (meat and brown gravey)

  1. medium heat in a large skillet
  2. add veg.
  3. oil then brown the diced round steak till brown.
  4. next sprinkle flower over meat and darken flower.
  5. careful not to burn
  6. once flower and meat are brown, add tomato sauce and water stirring slowly
  7. next add chopped onion,cumino and garlic powder
  8. salt is optional to taste.
  9. next cover skillet on medium heat for 15 minutes stirring every 5 minutes till gravy starts to thicken.
  10. once gravy thickens simmer on med.
  11. low for 10 minutes uncovered to evaporate excessive water as needed.
  12. next serve with long grain Spanish rice with side of pinto beans.
  13. u must tweek the spices to ur personal tastes.
