Green Pepper and Pork Stir-fry with Curry and Salt

  1. Slice the meat into easy to eat pieces.
  2. Remove the stem and seeds of the green peppers and julienne.
  3. Julienne the carrot and mince the garlic.
  4. Put the pork, salt and pepper, soy sauce, sake and katakuriko in a bowl and rub everything together by hand.
  5. Let it sit for a while.
  6. Coat a frying pan with vegetable oil and turn on the heat.
  7. When hot, add the pork from Step 2 and fry over high heat.
  8. When the surface of the meat has turned white, and the pieces have loosened, add the garlic, green peppers, and carrots.
  9. When the carrots start to wilt, add 100 ml of hot (or cold) water, and cover with a lid.
  10. Do this over high heat.
  11. Remove the lid once the water has evaporated.
  12. Add the Weipa and curry powder, fry everything together, and it's done.
