Hard Apple Cider Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches
- 1 bottle (17 Oz. Size) KC Masterpiece Bourbon BBQ Sauce
- 1 bottle (12 Oz. Size) Hard Apple Cider
- 4 whole Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
- 6 whole Hamburger Buns
- 14 ounces, weight Coleslaw Mix
- 2 whole Apples, Diced
- 1/4 cups Slivered Almonds
- 1 cup Plain Greek Yogurt
- 2 Tablespoons Apple Cider Vinegar
- 1 Tablespoon Honey
- 1/4 cups Diced Onion
- 1/2 Tablespoons Garlic
- 1/2 Tablespoons Herb Seasoning Salt
- In a large crockpot, pour BBQ sauce and cider over chicken breasts and cook on high for 4 hours (or on medium for 6 hours).
- When done, shred chicken using two forks.
- You can continue warming the chicken on low or medium until youre ready to eat.
- In a medium bowl, combine slaw mix, apples, almonds, yogurt, honey, onion, and spices.
- Stir until all of the ingredients are well combined.
- Refrigerate until ready to use.
- To serve, top chicken with slaw and serve on a hamburger bun.
