Steak Fajita Nachos
- 1 pound Flank Steak, Cut Into Bite Sized Pieces
- 1 Tablespoon Butter
- 1 whole Green Bell Pepper, Sliced
- Corn Tortila Chips, 2 Platefuls
- 1 can Black Beans, Drained, 15 Oz
- 1- 1/2 cup Shredded Mexican Cheese, Your Preference
- Optional Garnishes: Pico De Gallo, Guacamole And Sour Cream
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
- On a grill or skillet over medium heat, cook the sliced steak to desired (wellness/doneness?)
- Remove from skillet.
- Turn the heat to medium high, melt butter in skillet.
- Dump the peppers into the pan.
- Let sit for 1 minute.
- Do not touch them.
- After 1 minute, toss to coat.
- Allow the peppers to get a bit charred.
- Remove from pan.
- On 2 oven safe plates, arrange a pile of chips.
- Divide the cheese in 2 and sprinkle on chips.
- Place in the preheated oven, warming until cheese melts.
- Remove from oven.
- Top the chips with black beans, peppers and steak.
- Place back inside the oven and allow to heat through.
- Remove from oven and top with guacamole, pico and sour cream.
- Share with friends!
