Anastasia's Pirozhki

  1. Defrost dinner roll dough.
  2. Make cranberry sauce with cranberries, water, sugar and apples.
  3. Cook 5-7 minutes at medium heat.
  4. Flatten individual dough ball.
  5. Stuff a Teaspoon of cranberry mixture into ball.
  6. Fold berry mixture into flattened dough ball, squeezing the edges to make a turnover shape.
  7. Place turnovers on cookie sheet, with space for them to rise.
  8. Let them rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
  9. Place turnovers in a preheated 350 oven.
  10. Cook for 7-10 minutes or until light brown.
  11. You may also use this basic recipe, to make different flavors of pirozhki.
