Sweet and sour chicken

  1. FOR THE CHICKEN BREADING:::::
  2. Rinse chicken, trim off fat or extras and then cut into 1 inch cubes.
  3. season with salt and pepper.
  4. Dip chicken into cornstarch and coat all the way and then into eggs.
  5. (((( What i did to make it easier and faster for me was get a bag or gallon size ziplock bag and put all the chicken in their.
  6. Then i put a little more cornstarch and shook it till all the chicken was fully covered.
  7. Every piece.
  8. If not add more starch.
  9. Then i got my eggs aside and pulled out a handful of chicken and dropped in the egg and tossed the chicken around till each piece was coated in egg.
  10. Then repeated till i had a full skillet of chicken.
  11. Browned those and repeated till all the chicken was done.)))
  12. Heat oil in large skillet.
  13. Cook chicken until browned.
  14. Place in baking dish.
  15. 3 chicken breasts can be in a 9x9 but 5 chicken breasts fits better in a 9x13.
  16. FOR THE SAUCE:::::
  17. Whisk until smooth.
  18. Then pour evenly over chicken.
  19. Turn chicken so the sauce gets on both sides and then put in the oven at 350F for 15 minutes.
  20. turn chicken and then cook for 15 more minutes
