Chocolate and blackberry slice recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 190C, melt the dark chocolate in a bain marie (or use a glass bowl over a saucepan of boiling water) and stir in the butter until melted.
  2. Remove from the heat.
  3. Mix the flour with the milk chocolate and walnuts, in a separate bowl beat the eggs and sugar.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate and butter into the egg mixture, beat together and stir in the flour, milk chocolate, blackberries and walnuts.
  5. Transfer to a greased and lined baking tin and bake in the oven for 40mins.
  6. Remove from the oven and leave to cool for 1 hour.
  7. Cut into squares and serve with the clotted cream, blackberries topped with mint and a dusting of icing sugar
