Honey Ginger Chicken Recipe
- 2-3 lbs. chicken drumsticks & thighs
- 1/3 c. flour
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/3 c. honey
- 1/3 c. chili sauce
- 1/3 c. soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd ginger
- Heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Mix flour, salt, ginger and the pepper.
- Excess chicken skin should be trimmed off.
- Coat chicken pcs thoroughly with flour mix.
- Bake uncovered in a 13"x9" pan for 40 min.
- Turn chicken and bake 30 min more.
- Mix honey, chili sauce, soy sauce and ginger.
- Remove chicken and drain fat.
- Place chicken in a casserole dish and pour honey mix over chicken.
- Cover and bake 15 min, spooning honey mix onto chicken every 5 min.
- Serve immediately or possibly chill and serve chilled.
