My Chicken Fried Steak

  1. Combine all seasonings and mix well.
  2. I usually make a triple batch and keep in the freezer so I dont have to mix it together each time.
  3. Beat eggs and water together and set the bowl aside.
  4. Combine 2 Tablespoons of seasoning mix with the flour.
  5. Dip steak portions in flour, then in egg wash and flour again.
  6. Let the flour covered steak rest for 5-10 minutes while your vegetable oil heats in your skillet.
  7. (Note: reserve the flour mixture for the gravy).
  8. Fry flour covered steak in hot oil until brown on all sides.
  9. Cream Gravy: Drain all but 3 Tablespoons of oil from your fry pan.
  10. Stir in 3 Tablespoons of the reserved seasoned flour and let cook over low heat about 5 minutes, dont brown.
  11. Stir in milk and simmer until thickened.
  12. Serve with mashed potatoes and enjoy!
  13. (Dont wear your tight jeans when serving this!)
