Gobble R' Cobbler
- 2 can Yellow Cling Peaches (I used ones in water w/no added sugar)
- 1 cup Organic Raisins (Optional)
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup All Purpose Flour
- 1 cup Raw Sugar
- 1 cup 2% Milk
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/8 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Ground Cinnimon
- Gather Ingredients
- Preheat oven to 350F Fahrenheit
- Drain the cans of peaches into a seperate cup or container
- Place butter into a 9" by 12" baking dish and heat in oven until completely melted.
- In medium bowl mix sugar, flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnimon.
- Then pour in the milk and peach syrup that you set aside earlier and mix well to make a thin watery batter.
- (some clumping is alright).
- Pour the batter over the very hot melted butter and sprinkle your peaches and raisins over the top.
- Bake for 1hr or until the batter rises around the peaches and the crust appears thick and golden brown.
- (Great served hot with vanilla bean ice cream. )
