Bacon and Date Gorgonzola Grilled Cheese
- 8 ounces, weight Cream Cheese, Softened
- 4 ounces, weight Gorgonzola Cheese
- 12 whole Mini Sandwich Buns
- 1 pound Bacon (cooked)
- 12 whole Dates, Pitted And Sliced Thin
- 1/2 sticks Butter
- First, combine the cream cheese and Gorgonzola.
- Make sure you mash it well to incorporate the crumbly Gorgonzola with the cream cheese to make a good mix.
- Spread the cheese on both sides of the bread slices.
- Add the bacon, then date slices, and top with the other half of the bun.
- Add butter to a saute pan over medium-high heat until melted.
- Grill sandwiches in the pan, carefully turning halfway until golden brown on both sides.
