Ume-Chikuwa Rolls for Bento

  1. Cut a chikuwa lengthwise in half.
  2. Cut a piece of nori that's a bit shorter than the chikuwa.
  3. Spread umeboshi paste on the outside of the chikuwa.
  4. Put it on the nori and roll it up and secure with 2 toothpicks.
  5. Cut in between the toothpicks.
  6. Take the toothpicks out slowly, and exchange with cute bento pick!
  7. Pack into the gaps in a bento box.
