Tex-Mex Burgers
- 1 1/4 lb. ground beef chuck
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
- 2 tbsp. bottled salsa
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- Combine onion, salsa, salt, and chili powder.
- Mix seasonings with ground beef, just until well-blended but not overmixed, and shape into 4 patties, each 3/4-inch thick.
- Heat 12-inch skillet over high heat until hot.
- Add patties and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium or until desired doneness.
