Bull's Eye Original Bbq Sauce Recipe
- 1 c. water
- 3/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. tomato paste
- 2/3 c. vinegar
- 1/3 c. dark brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. molasses
- 1 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp onion pwdr
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 1/4 tsp grnd mustard
- 1/8 tsp paprika
- 1/8 tsp garlic pwdr
- 1 dsh cayenne
- Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan over high heat and whisk till smooth.
- Bring mix to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 45 min or possibly till thick.
- After the sauce cools you can use it immediately, but it's best to store it in a covered container in the refrigerator overnight where the flavor improves.
- This recipe yields 1 1/2 c..
- Yield: 1 1/2 c.
