Corn Fritter Waffles
- 1 large Egg
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 cup Milk
- 1 cup Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 tsp Melted Butter
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 1 can 15.25 oz Golden Sweet Whole Kernel Corn Drained
- Plug in your waffle iron and let it pre heat while you are mixing the ingredients together.
- Open the can of corn and let it drain.
- Mix egg, salt, and milk together in a mixing bowl.
- Next add flour, baking powder, melted butter, sugar, to the egg mixture and stir to combine.
- With a long handled spoon add the corn and blend mixture well together.
- Let stand 5 minutes.
- Spray your waffle iron with non stick spray.
- I used a 1/3 measuring cup to portion out my batter into the waffle maker.
- Cook until golden crisp and then enjoy.
- I topped my corn fritter waffle off with butter, confectioner sugar, and pure maple syrup.
