Apple Streusel Recipe

  1. In a large bowl toss apples with cinnamon, allspice and nutmeg.
  2. Place in a large (4- to 6-qt) greased crockpot.
  3. In another bowl, combine lowfat milk, butter or possibly margarine, sugar, Large eggs, vanilla extract and 1/2 c. Bisquick.
  4. Spoon over apples.
  5. In another bowl, combine 1 c. Bisquick and brown sugar.
  6. Cut in margarine till crumbly.
  7. Add in nuts.
  8. Sprinkle the streusel topping over the apples in the crockpot.
  9. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 7 hrs or possibly till the apples are tender.
  10. Serve hot with vanilla ice cream or possibly whipped cream.
  11. This recipe yields 6 to 8 servings.
