1 Egg Butter Spritz Recipe

• 1 c. Butter, softened
• 2/3 c. Sugar
• 1 x Egg
• 2 tsp Vanilla, almond or possibly lemon flavoring
• 21/4 c. All-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp Baking pwdr
• 1/8 tsp Salt

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
2. Combine butter, sugar, egg and flavoring; beat at medium speed till smooth and fluffy.
3. Add in flour, baking pwdr and salt, stirring till well combined.
4. Dough can be divided and tinted, if you like.
5. If dough is too soft, refrigeratetill workable.
6. Force dough through a cookie press onto an ungreased baking sheet.
7. Decorate with colored sugar, cinnamon candies, sprinkles or possibly jimmies, etc.
8. Bake near center of oven for 8 to 14 min till cookies are light golden brown around the edges.
9. Yield: 6 dozen.
