Broccoli Casserole

  1. Cook rice set aside.
  2. Melt margarine in frypan.
  3. Thaw broccoli drain well.
  4. Add broccoli and chopped onion to melted margarine and cook slow until onion is tender.
  5. In a large bowl combine rice broccoli, add soups undiluted, you may need to add a little water so that mixture is not dry.
  6. Grease a 13 x 9 inch casserole dish with margarine.
  7. Pour mixture in and cover with wax paper and cook for 20 minutes 700 watt microwave or can be cooked in conventional oven for 30 minutes uncovered.
  8. After cooking top with grated cheese.
  9. Allow cheese to melt.
  10. This casserole is good served with baked turkey, ham or baked chicken.
