Butterscotch Pie

  1. In a medium saucepan combine milk and sugar over medium-high and heat, and heat .
  2. In a small bowl, combine 3 egg yolks, salt and flour, and combine until smooth.
  3. Add to the heated milk.
  4. Whisk over medium heat until until thickened.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Add a piece of butter and 2 teaspoons vanilla.
  7. Pour into 2x 9-inch baked pie shells.
  8. This can also be used in a 9x13 pan with a graham wafer crust to make butterscotch squares.
  9. Sprinkle with Skor bit pieces.
  10. Whipped cream is better than meringue for topping.
