Banana Nut-Chocolate Chip Crumb Cake

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Sprinkle 1 cup of the cereal onto bottom of greased 8-inch square baking pan; set aside.
  3. Combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
  4. Beat 1/2 cup of the butter and the sugar in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until light and fluffy.
  5. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
  6. Add flour mixture alternately with the yogurt, beating after each addition until well blended.
  7. Stir in chips.
  8. Spoon into prepared pan.
  9. Bake 35 min.
  10. or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  11. Preheat broiler.
  12. Melt remaining 1/4 cup butter.
  13. Mix with the honey in medium bowl.
  14. Add remaining 1-1/2 cups cereal; toss to coat.
  15. Sprinkle evenly over cake.
  16. Broil, 4 inches from heat source, 2 to 3 min.
  17. or until lightly browned.
  18. Cool slightly.
  19. Serve warm.
