Barbie Poke Cupcakes

  1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
  2. Spoon batter into paper-lined muffin pan, filling each cup 1/2 full.
  3. Bake as directed on package.
  4. Cool cupcakes in pan on wire rack 15 minutes.
  5. Pierce cupcakes with large fork at 1/4-inch intervals.
  6. Stir boiling water into gelatin in small bowl at least 2 minutes until completely dissolved.
  7. Spoon evenly over cupcakes.
  8. Refrigerate 3 hours.
  9. Frost with whipped topping.
  10. Decorate as desired.
  11. Store cupcakes in refrigerator.
