Better-For-You Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 12 cup butter, softened
- 8 tablespoons canola oil
- 1 cup Splenda brown sugar blend
- 4 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 4 large egg whites
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups bittersweet chocolate chips
- 12 cup walnuts
- preheat oven to 375 degrees.
- in a medium bowl, cream together butter, oil and sugar.
- Add vanilla, salt and egg white: mix thoroughly to combine.
- In a small bowl, mix together flour and baking soda: stir into batter.
- add walnuts and chocolate chips to batter, stir to distribute throughout.
- Drop by leveled teaspoons of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake cookies until golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes: cool on wire rack.
