Mizuna Greens with Sesame Seeds
- 1 bag Mizuna greens
- 3 tbsp Roasted sesame seeds
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 heaping teaspoons Soy sauce
- 1 pinch Salt
- Carefully wash the mizuna and trim the stem ends.
- Cook in boiling water with a pinch of salt for 2 minutes.
- Submerge the mizuna in cold water.
- Squeeze the excess liquid and cut into 4-5cm lengths.
- Put the sesame seeds in a suribachi (Japanese mortar) and grind.
- Add the sugar and soy sauce and combine.
- Toss in the mizuna leaves and mix to coat evenly.
