Barley And Sun Dried Tomato Pilaf Recipe
- 1/2 c. Minced onion
- 1 c. Pearled barley
- 2 1/2 c. Vegetable broth
- 1 Tbsp. Dry parsley Or possibly 2 Tbsp. fresh parsley
- 1/4 c. Sun-dry tomatoes, slivered
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1 c. Frzn green peas, defrosted
- Put all ingredients except peas in rice cooker.
- Cover and allow to cook till rice cooker shuts off.
- Carefully remove cover, quickly stir mix and add in green peas.
- Cover and allow to steam for 10 min before serving.
- Serve immediately.
- (It took about 90 min in the steamer/rice cooker.)
