Cranberry-Orange Bars

  1. * substitutions = 2 cups whole fresh or frozen berries instead of 1 cup chopped.
  2. ** substitutions = 2 T fructose instead of brown sugar
  3. Combine the cranberriess, oranges, raisins and brown sugar in a mixing bowl.
  4. Set aside.
  5. Cream margarine until light and fluffy.
  6. Add 1 egg at a time and beat well.
  7. Blend in vanilla.
  8. Gradually add the flours and baking powder to the creamed mixture.
  9. Stir in the cranberry mixture and pour the batter into a greased 13-x-9-inch baking pan.
  10. Bake in a 350 F oven for 30 to 40 minutes, or until browned on top.
  11. Cool in the pan on a wire rack.
  12. Cut into 24 bars.
