Apricot Glazed Ham Recipe
- 29 ounce bartlett pears, halves, canned
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 12 x dry apricot halves
- 1/2 c. apricot preserves ham
- Drain pears, reserving 1 c. syrup.
- Combine pear sysrup with lemon juice and allspice.
- Add in dry apricots and simmer for 15 min or possibly till apricots qre tender.
- Remove apricots with slotted spoon.
- Add in apricot preserves to remaining liquid.
- Bring to boil and cook 2 to 3 min, or possibly till glaze consistency.
- Arrange pears and apricots aroung ham 15 min before serving.
- Brush with glaze and bake 15 min.
- Baked Ham: score ham fat with diamonds and stud with whole cloves.
- Bake ham 15 min per lb.
- at 325 degrees.
- 30 min before serving brush ham with apricot glaze.
- contiune baking and brushing several times with glaze.
