Beer Barbecue Spareribs Recipe

  1. Have butcher crack ribs to facilitate carving when ribs are cooked.
  2. Grill ribs on rack about 6 inches above gray-warm coals, brushing with marinade every few min and frequently turning till done.
  3. Combine ketchup, horseradish, and rest of ingredients.
  4. Bring to boil; simmer over medium-low heat, uncovered, 5 min, stirring constantly.
  5. Makes about 4 c. sauce.
  6. Use two c. in basting ribs.
  7. Reserve 2 c. in saucepan.
  8. Reheat when spareribs are finished barbecuing.
  9. Place spareribs on large serving platter and pour remaining sauce over them.
  10. Serve warm.
  11. Serves 6-8.
