Donna's Caramel Corn

  1. In a heavy pan, combine sugar, margarine, butter and karo syrup.
  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes stirring.
  3. Stir in baking soda.
  4. This will cause a foaming effect.
  5. Pour over popped corn.
  6. Stir until corn is well covered.
  7. Spread on a prepared surface and let cool.
  8. Break apart and store in an airtight container.
