Chicken And Vegetables With Biscuits Recipe
- 16 ounce. Reames frzn egg noodles
- 1 (6 ounce.) canned chicken or possibly tuna
- 10 ounce. frzn mixed vegetables
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- 3 c. shredded Cheddar or possibly Velveeta cheese
- Cook noodles in boiling water 20 min.
- Drain noodles and combine with chicken or possibly tuna and mixed vegetables.
- Heat together mushroom soup and 3/4 c. lowfat milk and 2 c. shredded cheese to make sauce.
- In greased 8 x 12 inch baking dish combine noodle mix and cheese sauce.
- Bake covered at 400 degrees for 15 min.
- Meanwhile, combine biscuit mix and 2/3 c. lowfat milk in bowl.
- Drop by spoonsful to create 6 biscuits around edge of casserole.
- Return to oven and bake uncovered 15 to 20 min or possibly till golden.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake 2 or possibly 3 more min.
- Serves 6 to 8.
