Asian Cabbage Slaw Recipe
- 3 Tbsp. canola oil
- 2 Tbsp. rice vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. mirin or possibly sherry
- 2 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp tamari soy sauce or possibly salt
- 1/2 tsp dry mustard or possibly healthy pinch warm Chinese mustard
- 1/2 tsp water
- 6 x inner stalks Bok Choy thinly sliced
- 2 c. shredded Chinese cabbage, Napa
- 1 c. finely shredded red cabbage
- 1 med carrot julienne or possibly grated
- 3 x scallions with tender greens thinly sliced
- 1/4 c. chopped cilantro or possibly flatleaf parsley 1 tbsp toasted sesame seeds for garnish brown and black
- DRESSING: In small bowl, use whisk to combine dressing ingredients.
- PER
- Place cabbages, carrot, onion and cilantro in a large mixing bowl and toss.
- Pour dressing over vegetables and toss gently to combine.
- Garnish with seeds.
