Spicy Pork & Tteokbokki
- 250 grams Pork belly (thinly sliced)
- 150 grams Tteokbokki
- 1 bunch Chinese chives
- 1 White part of a Japanese leek
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp Sake
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Gochujang
- 1 tbsp Ground sesame seeds
- 1 clove Grated garlic
- 50 ml Water
- 2 tbsp Sesame oil
- 1 dash Salt and pepper
- Combine the ingredients.
- (Don't worry, it's supposed to be this red!)
- Cut the garlic chives into 4 cm long pieces.
- Thinly slice the white section of the Japanese leek diagonally.
- Cut the pork into bite-sized pieces and season with a little bit of the Step 1 sauce.
- Heat sesame oil in a frying pan and cook the meat.
- Once the meat begins to change color, add the tteokbokki.
- Add the water and the sauce from Step 1 and stir-fry.
- Once the liquid has decreased, add the leek and garlic chives.
- Continue stir-frying.
- Once everything has been combined, season with salt and pepper, and enjoy!
- It tastes great when topped with cheese.
