Kris Kringles
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 pkg. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 pkg. butterscotch chips
- Mix sugar and corn syrup in a large saucepan.
- Boil over moderate heat.
- Remove from heat and stir in peanut butter and Rice Krispies.
- Press into greased 13x9-inch pan.
- Melt chocolate chips and butterscotch chips in a double boiler over hot, but not boiling, water.
- Spread over cereal mix.
- Chill.
- Remove from pan, and cut.
