Toasted Soybeans (Hiking)

  1. Soak the soybeans in the water for 8-12 hours.
  2. Drain.
  3. Place the drained beans in a shallow baking pan and bake at 300, stirring frequently, for 75-90 minutes or until golden in color and crunchy.
  4. When done, and still hot, sprinkle soy sauce over the beans and stir until the sauce coats them and dries up.
  5. Cool and store in an airtight container.
