Toasted Soybeans (Hiking)
- 1 cup soybeans
- 4 cups water
- soy sauce
- Soak the soybeans in the water for 8-12 hours.
- Drain.
- Place the drained beans in a shallow baking pan and bake at 300, stirring frequently, for 75-90 minutes or until golden in color and crunchy.
- When done, and still hot, sprinkle soy sauce over the beans and stir until the sauce coats them and dries up.
- Cool and store in an airtight container.
