Chocolate French Sik Pie

  1. In a mixer, cream butter.
  2. Gradually add sugar, creaming well.
  3. Blend in melted and thoroughly cooled chocolate and vanilla.
  4. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 5 minutes after each addition with an electric mixer on medium speed.
  5. Pour into cooled, baked pie shell.
  6. Chill for at least 2 hours.
  7. Top with whipped topping and walnuts, if desired.
